The waterfall on the Bronx River by the Scarsdale train station has always been a place where you could find a cool, calming setting to relax during the warm months in Edgemont.
It used to look like this.
That has now changed due to the Crane Bridge Road building project. The river has been dammed and there is no longer a waterfall.
The project will take three years and is scheduled to be completed by March 2015. It isn't clear when or if the waterfall will return.
Here is what we have now.
Not too relaxing.
